How can you support a child with dyscalculia? Judy Hornigold gives parents and teachers practical strategies that they can use to support dyscalculic learners.

Judy will discuss the barriers and difficulties that children with dyscalculia often face and then demonstrate strategies for supporting them, including games and activities that can be used in the classroom or in a 1:1 setting.

About the speaker: Judy Hornigold is an independent educational consultant specialising in dyscalculia and dyslexia. She is particularly passionate about the teaching of maths and of finding ways to support learners with dyscalculia and general maths learning difficulties. She has written an accredited dyscalculia course for the British Dyslexia Association and several books on dyscalculia and maths generally, as well as a guide for parents of children with dyslexia.
