VOLUNTEERING AT BELL HOUSE
Bell House is driven by its volunteers, who contribute their time and ideas. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the charity, from gardening to fundraising – below we have listed some of the ways you can get involved.
EVENTS VOLUNTEERS Volunteers help with the running of our talks and courses. Our volunteer co-ordinators send out a list of events that are happening in the coming months, so volunteers can sign up to the events they are able to help with. This means that events volunteering can be as big or small a commitment as suits you. It is a sociable role, and often means you can get a ringside seat at some of our talks and courses. Our volunteers can also help host online talks.
GARDEN VOLUNTEERS Our garden volunteers meet weekly on Saturday and Thursday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30am and Tuesday afternoons, 2.00 - 4.00pm (summer months 3.00 - 5.00pm). We garden organically to encourage bio-diversity and end our sessions with a chat over croissants and coffee.
Everyone is welcome, from complete novices to gardening experts. We invite new volunteers to come to one of our Open Days on the first Saturday of the month to meet us and learn more about the charity, house and garden.
If you are interested in joining the gardening group please follow this link to our volunteering form. For any queries please email gardening@bellhouse.co.uk.
