Come to the Bell House Print Room & Bindery to experience the basics of letterpress printing and pamphlet binding with Tania and Simon.
You will create your covers, end papers and feature pages using vintage letterpress blocks and rules which you will then use to make 3 hand crafted pamphlet notebooks.
A pamphlet book is one of the easiest books to make using stitches. There are many ways to sew a book and in this workshop you will master three.
Suitable for complete beginners with all materials and tools provided.
At the end of the workshop you will leave with a set of your own books and the skills to carry on at home … or join us for the next experimental binding workshop at Bell House.
The workshop will be run by the Creative Directors of the Print Room & Bindery - Simon Trewin and Tania Hurt-Newton.
