Hand-building - all levels, with Schneider - 6-week course for adults

£225 for six 2-hour sessions.

Courses are on a Thursday afternoon and last for 6 weeks.

On this course you can explore a range of hand-building techniques.
Whether you are a complete beginner who wants to try as many techniques as possible or a more advanced student with a specific mixed project in mind, our experienced tutor, will assist you with your ceramic creations.

You will learn various hand-building techniques, such as pinching, coiling and slab building.
To finish your pieces, you will learn decorating techniques, experimenting with slips and inlay.
You will also learn how to finish your pots and how to glaze them
You can keep up to six pieces which will be fired for you at the end of this course.
The cost of all materials and firings are included in your course fee.
This course is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience working with clay.
You can work independently with advice from the teacher or follow the projects which are taught by the tutor.

This course is for adults, aged 18 and over.
Working with clay can be a messy business and aprons will not be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing.
