The Dulwich Music Festival is hosting a free community art project at Bell House with ceramicist Emma Fenelon and musician Lorraine Liyanage.
Using clay from beneath Bell House itself and other local clays, work with our artists to create a piece of art inspired by the house and the music heard on the day. Local musicians will perform music from the time when the house was built. The tiles will be assembled into a piece of art to be displayed in the grounds of the house. Sign up to the Bell House mailing list to be informed about the grand unveiling! Any tiles not used in the final project will be available to collect on the day. We will also have air-drying clay available if you’d like to create something to take home on the day.
Suitable for all ages. Clay tiles available on a first come, first served basis.
Musicians:
Lorraine Liyanage, Masumi Yamamoto (harpsichord)
Ibrahim Aziz (viola da gamba)
Mirnalfonsina Grisolia (mezzo soprano)
Aswoa Dickson (soprano)
